Raleigh Spring Maternity Photography - Simple and Spring

I have known this mama since we were 14 years old - so excited that she is having her first baby! She is just glowing, and I love that we were able to capture her pregnancy in the spring. The pretty spring trees only bloom for such a short time and the day we picked was just perfect. I love how simple and sweet these are and the pretty sunset portraits of both of them. Can’t wait to meet their sweet baby soon!

Raleigh Newborn Natural Light Photography - Sweet Little Dreamer

Oh, this little one was so sleepy and just kept dreaming during yesterday’s newborn session. Such a sweet little sister (More photos with her big sister soon!) and just so calm and content. Her big sister couldn’t wait to hold her when I got there and was just so happy when she finally got the chance. I love, love, love, all of the images from this session and can’t wait to share all of them with her family. Can you tell I am really loving texture with newborn portraits the past several months? I just really love sweet, simple images that are organic and natural (and lots of texture!)I am now in trouble with all of the pretty stuff I just want to keep ordering for newborn sessions!

Raleigh Maternity Lake Photography - Sunset At The Lake

I first met this sweet family for their daughter’s one year portraits - such a fun session and happy little one. Super excited that she will be a big sister soon..any day now! The first date we planned for their maternity session ended up being one of those cold, super windy, dark days with such uncertain weather that we rescheduled. We ended up with such a perfect afternoon and some beautiful portraits of just the two of them before baby number two arrives. I love that they brought yellow and green shoes since they aren’t finding out if it’s a girl or a boy. Can’t wait to meet their little one soon for their family newborn portraits. Yesterday and today I had two family newborn sessions and I just LOVE them! Harrison is so big now I hardly remember him being 6lbs…and I really love that we have the images of all of us together and images of just him that tiny. He just keeps growing everyday and is such a talker - and so happy too. He has definitely stolen our hearts.

Next week I will be at the Pinkle Toes Workshop Reunion so I might not be returning e-mails as quickly. Things will be a little quiet for a week!

Raleigh Maternity Sunset Photographer - Dandelions

Could we have any more perfect weather last night for this sweet couple’s session (see one more here) - just gorgeous! So many fun maternity sessions lately (I have a lot of blogging to do!) The next few weeks are going to be so much fun with a lot of maternity & newborn sessions! Two more newborn sessions this week! I love this image - their baby girl is just so loved and we got some cute images with her older brother puppy who was just so calm and happy and somewhere near the end of the session he got his second wind! I didn’t even know that he could run! Will be sharing all of these soon, and a lot more previews this week. Next week I will be off to NYC for the Pinkle Toes Workshop Reunion so it will be quiet for a week! Ok, eeek!! Love this one, and couldn’t wait to share it!

Wake Forest Raleigh Newborn Baby Photographer - The Prettiest Hair

This sweet little one was two weeks old the day of her newborn portraits, and wow, look at all that gorgeous hair! She was determined to be awake when I arrived but when she finally went to sleep, she was just so content and slept and slept the rest of the session. Such a sweetheart and I love all of the family images and images of just her and her sweet puppy that we were able to capture during this sweet newborn session at home. (How many times have I mentioned I LOVE newborn sessions at home!) Next week is a busy week of newborns, too! So excited - I love meeting new babies and you know I love, love, love newborn sessions at home!
