Raleigh NC Maternity Photography - Dandelions and Light

Just got back from NY last night. What a fun trip it was, but man, am I exhausted! I am back to blogging, editing, and working this week. May is going to be so much fun - and I can’t wait to finish all of the sessions I have to edit! I finished this session right before I left for NY. What a fun, dreamy maternity session with perfect evening light. I also love their little dog that came to the session - he was just so sweet and stayed right where we were…until the very end when we were taking photos in the dandelions. Out of nowhere, he got a second wind and was off. I love, love, love the little shoes mom brought - sooo cute! Can’t wait for their sweet baby girl to be born soon and to photograph her newborn portraits!

Wake Forest Newborn Photographer NC - New York

Just a reminder that tomorrow I leave for NY. I needed a photo for this post right? My awesome friend Bobbie snapped this image from my last trip to NY circa 2005 (I am really amazing at hailing a cab..Well, not really. I’m not sure we ever got one! I think we had just finished eating some amazing cupcakes, too.) I will be at the Pinkle Toes Workshop Reunion (so excited to see so many friends!) starting tomorrow through May 4th. I will not have my computer with me and will answer e-mails from my phone when I get a chance. If you need to get in touch with me today, please let me know! Raleigh Baby Family Lifestyle Photographer - Spring Has Arrived

Do you see all of that pretty green in the background?!?! GREEN! (YAY!) The trees finally have leaves and wow, it is gorgeous out there! I love, love, getting that pretty green in the background. And this sweet baby girl is just so happy and so many sweet photos of her with her older brother - they are just so cute together. Can’t wait to share all of the images from this sweet family session and YAY for spring!

Also, just another last minute reminder that I will be out of the office tomorrow - May 4th. I will be away from my computer and will return e-mails from my phone as I am able. If you need to speak with me, send me an e-mail or call me today!

Family Newborn Fun Lifestyle Photography - Happy

When I look at the images of this session, I just think of the word happy - such a sweet and happy family. The moment I met them, they were just so laid back and fun, and their little ones - soooo cute and full of personality. Big sister loved being spun around by her daddy and I love the image of her kissing her baby brother - soooo sweet! This was one of those fun family sessions where I blinked and just couldn’t believe how many images we were able to capture in such a short amount of time. And you know I love the pretty sunset light in these. (You know photos at sunset are my favorite!)

That’s kind of my word lately…just happy. That’s what I aim to capture for you - the sweetness of being together….happy family images that you cherish and make you smile when you see them on your walls. (And I hope they are on your walls! Don’t forget to print and enjoy them!)

Newborn Photography Natural Light Raleigh - So Peaceful

I just love this preview from yesterday’s newborn session - just so simple and sweet. And, oh I love the colors! Her mama and I had fun playing dress up with her - trying different blanket and headband combinations. I got a few different headbands in the mail this week (and a few more coming soon!) that I was really excited to try out. I thought this wrap just looked beautiful, too! I got to see her the day she was born - such a beauty! Two days in a row the big sisters were just talking up a storm about how they wanted to hold their baby sisters - way too sweet! And fun to photograph, too! I love, love, love, the first days as siblings - so incredibly sweet! More from this newborn session soon!
