What a fun morning it was photographing these sweet girls at Pine State Flowers in Durham for Addis Jemari. Addis Jemari is an awesome organization that helps orphans. (You can read all about it here) The bags and jewelry in this photoshoot can all be purchased on their website here. A lot of the products are new so they may still be working to get them up on the website. First of all, a huge thank you to Pine State Flowers for letting us use their charming shop. It it just beautiful, ya’ll. (Love it so so much!) What’s really neat about Pine State Flowers is that it is North Carolina’s first exclusively local flower shop. More than 95% of the flowers at the shop are grown in North Carolina. I also loved the unique flowers and plants they have in the shop. If you are looking for a gift, this is a perfect spot to pick up a plant in a beautiful pot. What’s also neat is this was a florist shop built in the 1930s. (You can read all about the history of the shop here, super cool!) I loved seeing the photos and reading the history on the wall of the shop. These three girls were just so sweet and helped us pull off this photoshoot flawlessly and quickly especially with so many products to photograph! I love finding creative locations and photoshoots just make my heart sing…Loved this one so much!

If you follow me on social media, then you’ve probably seen these beautiful Addis Jemari leather bags. Several of you have asked me about purchasing them, and all the new bags are now up on their site! So many pretty bags….loved so many of them, and the girls being photographed just oohed and ahhed over them, too. See all of the bags for sale on their website here. (They also have jewelry, scarves, and more.)

The mission of Addis Jemari, from their website.

“Our mission is working with teenage girls who are orphaned or find themselves in vulnerable positions. We strive to encourage, educate, and empower them through the work of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We seek to help these girls by encouraging them in the truth that everyone is created in God’s image and therefore have immense value. Educating and equipping these girls will transform their lives from day- to-day survival to a life that flourishes and thrives with new purpose.  As we empower these girls to grow into the young women God has created them to be, it will change their future and allow them a new beginning, preparing them to come alongside others in similar life circumstances. Our prayer is these girls will not only impact their community, but the world.”

You can also sponsor the family and staff of Addis Jemari, the Addis Jemari girls, or contribute to their healthcar or education. Find out more here.

Ever since my first child was born, I have really struggled with my sinuses. I could probably be one of those weather predictors with my sinuses – ha. If a sinus headache starts, I know the weather’s going to be bad. I did go see an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor after Owen was born, and they did a CAT scan. I officially have sinus problems.

I was really excited when I learned about the klēn shower steamers. They have worked wonders for my sinuses + I have loved them. You put them in the floor when you take a shower, and they steam and open up your sinuses. Happy is my absolute favorite, and they have made such a difference in my sinuses. Immediate relief. Like, I love, love, love them.

I also tried their bath salts, candle, and lotion, and I would recommend all of them. I am super picky about candles, and love that their candles are all natural. Best of all, they are a local business, and I love shopping local. If you decide to try them out, click here and use the code Keller for 15% off, and let me know what you think. (Happy is my favorite shower steamer. Oh, and I didn’t get paid for this blog post, I was just so excited to find something that helps with my sinuses and wanted to share in case anyone else is in the same boat!) They are all natural products with carefully sourced ingredients. They also have a great lip gloss that’s safe enough if your child decides to eat it. (See the story here)

Suzanna’s Antiques, on Durant road in Raleigh, has been one of my favorite stores for years..and we were just talking yesterday – they’ve been open 10 years! There is so much to see + so much thought has been put into all the great things you can find at the shop. I love the old doors, old windows, and the list goes on and on.

If you’ve been following me on instagram, you’d know that I love Suzanna’s Antiques. It’s absolutely my favorite spot to shop, and I usually have to have a lot of self control whenever I stop by because there is just so much cute stuff! You have to walk realllly slowly and just keep staring so you don’t miss anything, which can be difficult whenever Harrison is in tow.(And make sure you look up. A lot of great finds are on the ceiling. Yes. the ceiling. Especially in the room where you check out…ornaments everywhere – so fun!) They also have a lot of those fun wooden signs that are so pretty. I am so lucky that they are right down the street from me..and on the route to and from Owen’s school, so everyday I am reminded I want to stop by! Love, love, love Suzanna’s – everyone is so friendly + helpful, and there are just so many great finds!

A few snaps from my visit to the shop yesterday..
