Raleigh Family Photography - Stay Tuned…

So if you’re not following me on facebook or keeping up with the blog, you will want to check back soon for some exciting news for 2014 clients. I will most likely announce on facebook or instagram first (you can follow me here or here) when everything is finalized. I have been trying to think of fun new ways to say thank you this year..Starting with the Free Holiday Mini Session giveaway on instagram, the 2013 Image of the Year (two 2013 clients won a free session + digital files in 2014!) and now something super fun + exciting in April.

I will be starting back full time in a few weeks and I am currently booking through the end of September. I have a list of those who have booked fall sessions who I will contact as soon as I open up October - December. (and keep checking my facebook page for updates!) And if you were thinking of booking a Coastal Session, there are only a few spots left! Don’t wait!

Really excited about this year - thanks so much everyone!! Oh, and stay tuned for more info….

Raleigh Baby Mini Session Photography - Hello Adorable!

We met the week before Christmas for a first year mini session for this handsome little guy. How cute is he?!? And his mama had some super cute things picked out for him - how adorable is that monkey hat? (Um yes. if you’ve heard my hospital newborn hat story with Owen..then you know that I LOVE hats.) I still can’t believe I finished editing and e-mailed this session a few hours before my water broke on Christmas Eve!

When you book a newborn session, you have the option of adding on a mini maternity and three other mini sessions during the first year. (Mini sessions include Mom, Dad, and baby.) It’s a perfect session to document how much they change and grow the first year. (I’ve already scheduled Mommy and Me portraits for Harrison and I at four months - can’t wait!!) I just love seeing how little ones grow and change, and the first year is just so special. The great thing about mini sessions is they don’t take long, we can plan them at home (love this sweet mini session at home) - in your house or backyard, and it’s great for capturing sweet moments with your little one.

Don’t forget - Round one of the 2013 Image of the Year ends tomorrow at midnight. I’ve been so overwhelmed at the response to the contest - thanks everyone for voting! It’s going to be close for the 6 finalists which will be announced on the blog!

and one more thought…anyone else hoping for snow tomorrow night? Not just flurries..I mean, SNOW!

Crystal Elaine - Thank you for capturing his happy personality! You truly went above and beyond. He was so stuffy and just not feeling well, and I can’t believe the great photos from that session. :)

Raleigh Fun Christmas Mini Session Photography - Holiday Mini Sessions

So super excited that the Holiday Mini Sessions start today at Boyce Farms! Today and tomorrow will be busy days filled with a lot of photographs - glad I will be able to see so many clients before I am out on maternity leave soon. It’s amazing that it’s already only a few weeks away from Christmas and that this little one will be born soon. We just got back from our last trip out of the triangle before Harrison arrives and there’s still a lot to be done. I’m glad I’ll have tree decorating, Christmas crafts, and a lot of editing to keep me busy the next few weeks!

Raleigh Fall Baby Photography - Little Pumpkin

First year Mini Sessions are just so sweet - capturing the milestones. Oh, this little one’s smile is way too cute, and he is sooo happy with his mommy and daddy. When I arrived at their house, he was still taking his evening nap - he woke up so happy for some sunset portraits in the front yard. So happy we had some pretty gorgeous light - when we met for his four month portraits, it started thundering and lightning soon after we arrived. I love the sweet little pumpkin and cutie dinosaur costume his mama had for him - and he was just full of smiles - he loved them, too!

When you book a newborn session, you have the option of booking 1 -4 baby’s first year mini sessions. These include Mom, Dad, and the baby and you can also use one for a Mini Maternity Session. Contact me for more information about booking a first year session.

Raleigh Holiday Mini Sessions at the Christmas Tree Farm

It was a little cold this morning which made me so excited for the holidays! Yay for cooler weather, crafts, hot chocolate, and all kinds of yummy treats! And now, I can’t wait to put the Christmas tree up. I’m sure it will be in the 80′s later today but it was exciting for a little while!

Super excited to announce the Free Holiday Mini Sessions for 2013! (Mini Sessions are FREE when you book a 2014 full session.) Sessions will be at the Christmas Tree Farm in Raleigh. They will be 20 minutes and you will receive one free image per child. The Mini Sessions are for Children only. (These are not family sessions) Images will be e-mailed within three days of your session. These are the only Holiday Mini Sessions I will be offering this year. There are a limited number of times available so contact me soon if you’d like to book your 2014 session and free Mini for 2013!

And now, I need to start planning holiday crafts and baking! Have a favorite recipe?!? Send it to me..I’m always looking for yummy holiday food ideas!
