“I’ve Been Pinkle Toes-ed”

A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to attend one of the Pinkletoes workshops in Austin. So thankful for such a sweet husband who arranged a family trip around the workshop and totally supported my decision to go. (and even flew back to Raleigh with our 2 1/2 year old by himself. He is the best.)

First of all, Michele is awesome. I honestly don’t know how she does it - I was worn out and I was just soaking it all in. The girl never stopped talking, listening, answering questions - I don’t know if she even ate the whole time. (We totally had sessions during meals) The workshop was far more than what I expected - we honestly did not stop for a beat. From the time we woke up until we went to sleep, we were learning and trying out new things. She should seriously charge way more - all of the information, experiences, and even an after the workshop video chat to answer questions - amazing.

I didn’t take too many photos- I was trying to listen and of course, scribble in my moleskin and workshop book the whole time. Here are a few images I snapped while there.

Met so many talented photographer friends on the trip! (See more group photos here and here.) Check out their websites!

52 Week Project - Week 25 - Fathers - Raleigh Senior Portrait Photography

So I just realized that I never blogged this week from my project. Week 25′s theme was Fathers.

These were taken at the Raleigh Fire Department’s Centennial Celebration. The first picture was one I quickly snapped on my phone and I just loved it. He loves his daddy and boy, did he love seeing all the fire trucks. Wee-ooh, wee-ooh!

Michael took him out to the middle of the street when the parade started so he could see the fire trucks at the beginning of the parade. He LOVED watching all the lights!

Oh, I love this one. I love what a wonderful father he is and how much he loves his son.
