2013 Image of the Year - Raleigh Family Photographer

Round one of the Rebecca Keller Photography 2013 Image of the Year.

There are 26 entries and you can view all of them in this gallery. (Votes only count on the blog - likes and comments on facebook are awesome but do not count towards voting.)

Voting for Round 1 will end on Tuesday, January 28th at Midnight and there will be 6 finalists - five chosen by popular vote and one chosen by a panel of professional photographers. Each finalist will receive a $50.00 credit towards a 2014 session. (Credit will expire 12/31/2014 and you must book according to the photographer’s schedule.)

On Wednesday, January 29th Round 2 voting will start and there will be two winners of the 2013 Image of the Year.

Both of the two final winners will receive a FREE family session in 2014 + digital files (some restrictions apply)
Voting only counts on the blog (not on facebook) and you can only vote one time each day. Those caught violating the rules will be removed from the contest. The photographer can change the rules/prizes at any time and there is no purchase necessary to enter the contest.

Raleigh NC Family Photographer - The Pretty Yellow Leaves

Still catching up on blogging from the fall! This session was so much fun - how cute are these two brothers?!? This sweet family always seems to plan their session at the perfect time for beautiful fall colors and of course, we planned the session when there would be beautiful sunset light. You know I love fun sessions at sunset with gorgeous light! I love the pretty leaves and the sweet snuggles we captured with mama and her boys. Don’t you love the fun hats she brought for them?

And just another reminder, I’ve send out e-mails for the 2013 Image of the Year. If you booked a session in 2013 and didn’t get an e-mail from me about the contest, please let me know. I’ve received several entries and can’t wait for the contest to start. Don’t forget to send in your entries - the contest will be starting soon and no late entries will be accepted.

Raleigh Newborn Photography At Home - Christmas Pajamas

This was one of the last newborn sessions for 2013 (There’s one more to blog and share!) I first met this sweet family at their maternity session with the stunning light. (Seriously that park is one of my favorite places ever and wow, it was gorgeous this September. See one of my favorite maternity images ever here) And don’t you just love the first image of this family of four? Just so incredibly sweet. I love the images we were able to capture of the four of them together. Taking the photos during the first two weeks is such a special time, and she was just so content so have her big brother hug and love on her. (I’m really glad we took our own family newborn photos when our little one was a little over a week old) Oh, and don’t you love that we were able to get the Christmas tree in the background and a few with their Christmas pajamas?I love that about sessions at home around the holidays!

Merry Christmas - Raleigh Family and Newborn Photographer

Can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve and tomorrow is Christmas! Owen is still sleeping, but he will soon be up to move Santa over to the 24th. It is the first thing he talks about in the morning and runs downstairs to count how many days until Christmas. It’s going to be two fun relaxing days for us since we won’t be traveling this year. Cannot wait to cozy up by the tree and watch Elf today - one of my favorite Christmas movies ever! Just wanted to stop and share some sweet images of these three cute cousins that I took when they were all together. (Just love the little outtake at the end!) It was an impromptu little shoot in my mom’s front yard and the three of them are just so cute and happy together. So excited that next year there will be one more little cousin with these three! I will be back to blogging soon - going to take a little break and finish up the last three family sessions to edit and then to start working on a special contest for 2014. Raleigh Twins Photographer - Grinning From Ear to Ear

The minute these two boys stepped out of the car, they were grinning from ear to ear. How cute are they?!?!With all the crazy fall weather this year, we had to reschedule a few times but ended up with beautiful weather. This family is full of so much love, and the boys LOVED the park. They had so much fun running around and exploring. It was one of those busy fall evenings that was packed out with family sessions. (One of my favorite places ever for session in Raleigh and it’s super popular in the fall!) I even ran into a good friend who was also out shooting. This family was just so sweet and now that their Christmas cards have been mailed, I can share their fun family photos!
