Booking for Fall+Holiday Minis
Raleigh Fall Family Mini Sessions
From our 2016 Fall Minis
Booking for our 2017 Fall + Holiday Minis starts this Wednesday evening. We are so excited about all of our minis with Little Apple Styles! Booking will be opened up to the e-mail list first, so if you aren’t on the email list, sign up here! These go quick, and will be super cute + styled! These are a few examples from last year’s minis. Don’t miss all the cuteness for this year’s minis! Set an alarm on your phone so you remember to check your email at 8PM Wednesday.
How do our minis work? We will be sending out all dates, prices, and information in our email so you can have as much information as possible about who are minis are for (Is it a family mini or just the kids) how much it is, location area, and time. Ericka and I have been working together for a long time now, and you won’t believe how long even 5 minutes can be when photographing just the kids. You can read over all the different time/price/how many people options and decide what works for your family, budget + don’t forget, your Christmas Card. I know, I’m talking about Christmas cards in July, but how nice to go ahead and have your yearly photo planned + done, with a fun editorial image to boot. We strive to make our sessions unique, styled, and just plain fun - something we aren’t going to do for every session, but something we can plan for our minis. We spend a lot of time scouting locations, searching for props, and dreaming up ideas just for you.

On The Move
One Year Wake Forest Baby Photographer
You are going to laugh at me but I have been sitting in the same spot editing for years. YEARS. I haven’t moved or needed to, because, well, it was perfect. Then, something happened this week. When I got back from the beach, there was no air conditioning upstairs. None. It was like a million degrees up there, and the boys and I had to camp downstairs, which was a little bit fun. All this being said, I had to set up shop somewhere else, and I LOVE IT. Like, I’m not going to move back upstairs. Isn’t this funny? Here I thought I had everything figured out in my house as to where the best place to edit was, and Boom, change of heart. Because I’ve been seeing all these Hygge posts lately, and it just makes you want to make everything extra cozy, right? Add on the fact that I love listening to Sally Clarkson, so lots of inspiration for a cozy home. So, now I’m sitting + blogging in my new cozy spot and just loving it. I am not going back upstairs - all my stuff is staying right here.
So I first met this sweet girl a year ago, and their puppy, oh my, is the sweetest. I rarely photograph one year olds that are walking yet, but this little one was running all over the place. Her mama was running all over to catch her, and the cuteness was overwhelming. I love that she brought her balloons from her birthday party, and she was just so bubbly and friendly, waving at everyone along the way. So much cuteness to share from her one year portraits.

So Many Giggles
One Year Baby Photographer Raleigh
I always feel like I blink after their newborn sessions when they turn one. It’s really, like how can this even be possible? And this little one, we were photographing him close to his bedtime so of course, this session was super quick. With everything going on, and how quick this session was, he still managed to give me so many smiles and giggles. So, so, so cute! What I love about sessions is that it is a time to play and make memories..to have fun together as a family and also capture that in the photos.
We went to see Captain Underpants with friends today, and well, it was everything you dreamed a boys movie could be. (Some theaters have discounts on Tuesdays, which is awesome)It was actually really funny, and I could see how Owen’s age would love it, but also a little much on the potty talk, of course. My girl ears were like ewwwww. Owen has been devouring the chapter books so, of course, I have put every single one on hold at the library in the hopes that one day he will be able to read more. (it is kind of amazing how many girl series books there are vs. boys. Just not that much great stuff. If you have any suggestions for other series, I would love to hear them) I grew up going to the movies a lot..I mean, my Mama loves movies. Since she loved them, of course, I was the kid who never wanted to watch tv or movies. I never watched Saved by the Bell and remember a little bit of Full House, but mostly I would rather be doing something else. Even in college, I never really wanted to sit around and watch movies. It still baffles Michael when something comes on tv, and he’s like remember this? Um no. I owned like 7 dvds in college/after college and I married a man who has oodles and oodles of them. My favorite movies growing up (I can remember all of them because there were so few) were Anne of Green Gables , Never Been Kissed , My Best Friend’s Wedding (i watched this so many times) 10 Things I Hate About You , and The Wedding Singer . There were more, I’m sure, but these are the ones I can remember. Who else has old chick flicks they remember + want to share? Now that I spent so much time sitting on the couch editing for my job, of course I am now watching netflix and movies. Too funny! Michael still can’t believe it some days. Ok, enough of my rambling about Captain Underpants + movies..on to the one year cuteness!
