So excited to announce the dates for the 2014 Coastal Sessions at Holden Beach! I love the beautiful images and special memories that you can capture at the coast. It’s also fun for little ones to splash in the ocean and play in the sand. When booking a session in full sun on the beach, the best time of day is going to be either sunrise or sunset. (See an example of a sunrise session here - this was a travel session (yes I offer travel sessions - contact me for pricing) so not at Holden Beach where the Coastal Sessions will be and a sunset session here at Holden Beach. Both of these sessions were just soooo much fun! We laughed and laughed - what great memories for the whole family.) I only photograph in the best light of day and if I had to pick a favorite it would be sunset. Although getting up super early and heading to the beach can be fun, too! These will go very quickly so if you are interested - contact me as soon as possible!

Could the light in these be any more stunning? It was a perfect October afternoon for one year anniversary portraits of these two. (Yes, October. Lots of blogging to do!) He rented a tux so I was so thankful that the rain stayed away and we were able to capture some sweet anniversary images for these two. I don’t think the weather could have been any more perfect. Love, love, love her dress and the fall bouquet she brought for their session.

We thought it might rain/storm the evening of Kate & Daniel’s engagement portraits but the weather held and it ended up being a nice evening in Chapel Hill.They also brought their adorable puppies - Joey & Frisco. We started at the Old Well and I saw several other photoshoots while waiting for Kate & Daniel. Also, several runners stopped by to get a drink of water. Then we walked over to the arboretum for a few photos and ended our session in downtown Chapel Hill. These two are just so cute together and I love how many photos we captured of them laughing and having fun together. Kate also brought some super cute outfits for the session, and did you see her ring? Absolutely gorgeous. So excited for these two!
