This sweet little one was just as content as can be for his newborn portraits at home. And wow, his big brother was just so happy to show him off – way too cute. I think he gave him 500 kisses while I was there – way too adorable. It was so sweet to see how these two are going to be best friends. I felt like this session just flew by – little brother was just so content to be snuggled by his mommy and daddy and even let his big brother kiss and snuggle him. He also let me snap a few of him by himself, too. This was one of those sessions that I just loved in color and in black and white so I had to post some of each on the blog.

It was a beautiful morning when we met for this sweet little one’s one year portraits. I can’t believe it’s been a year – it’s been so much fun documenting his first year. He and his big brother were just so happy and I love the images of the two of them together. I love when we have bubbles at a session – so much fun for the kids and they were definitely a hit with these two.

Oh, and another update about fall sessions – all packages are 30% off when booked before 09/01/13. I only have a few weekend family session dates for fall. I have one newborn spot available for September, one newborn spot for October and two for November. I’ll only be taking a limited number of first year sessions in December and then I’ll be on maternity leave. If you’d like to book a fall session, contact me for more information!

Newborn sessions at home are just so special. I love when I walk in the door and the older siblings greet me so excited to show me their new baby brother or sister. I love being able to capture the whole family together during these first days at home with their little one. This was one of those sessions that just went so well. This little one was a little younger than two weeks and was just so content for her portraits. I think we blinked and the family photos were over and then we focused on taking some photos of this little one by herself. Such a beauty (and remember her mama’s colorful underwater portraits here?) I have several newborn sessions coming up to share! (I can’t wait!) Look forward to more newborn posts on the blog soon and more of this little one’s first year!

This little one’s mama always comes up with fun and creative ideas for her sessions. Could she be even cuter with the bubbles and her eyes closed?  This session was all about her one year portraits but we also took a few of her big brothers and family. Our first session was rained out (so much rain this summer) but the second time we met there was beautiful light in the background. Have I mentioned lately how much I love light – ha! I had not been to this park in a while, and I was reminded how much I love it -Such a variety of backgrounds and a beautiful park, too! I am sad that summer is fading fast but looking forward to all the fun family sessions planned for the next few months. Looking forward to seeing this family again in a few months and falling leaves and beautiful fall colors + beautiful light (yay!)
