This little guy was just so content for his newborn portraits. It was one of those sessions for me where I felt like I blinked and it was over. He has the sweetest big sister to take care of him and I just love the images of the two of them. It was a rainy day, and oh, I love, love, rainy day black and white images. (Remember the first newborn of 2014 – also a dark, cloudy day – LOVE!) Love every single one from this session in color and black and white. I only shoot natural light and I love it! Oh, and have you noticed I love texture in newborn portraits? LOVE all of the photos of him by himself with the different blankets, and those smiles, precious!

This little 5 week old was just so sweet for his portraits this morning. We were able to capture so many wide eyed images of him with his Mommy and Daddy and in his nursery. This little guy looooooves listening to music and it was so cool because his mama and I have the same taste in music. So we rocked out to all kinds of great tunes today!

I really love one year sessions – such a special time! And I remember planning my first birthday party ever – so much fun! I don’t think this session could have been any sweeter – this little one was just soooo happy the minute she was out of the car. It was so cute to see just how happy she was being snuggled by her mommy and daddy. I think I was shock even by how many images we were able to get in the first fifteen minutes. She just has the sweetest little personality and laughed and giggled the whole time.  I had never been to this park before in Cary and it was packed out because it was one of those extremely gorgeous afternoons. (As I sit here writing this, it’s rainy and yucky outside. I can’t wait until summer!) How adorable is she blowing kisses?!? Tooooo cute!!! We dodged people right and left and also some pretty yucky marshy grass and ended up with some beautiful one year portraits for this little one!

How sweet is this? I just love this sweet Mommy Baby image from their family session this weekend. This little guy was just sooo happy and cute! And he’s gotten so big since his newborn portraits. I love Mommy Baby images because we are the ones who are always taking the pictures and it’s great to have some of just us and our little ones. (Having a little baby around our house reminds me of this.) Such a sweet little guy and I’ll be posting more images from his family session soon!

This little one was up bright and early for his 6 month portraits with his Mommy & Daddy! Such a cutie and I just love the pretty light that you can get early in the morning and late in the day. He is also one of the winners of the 2013 Image of the Year. Remember his newborn portraits? He still has the cutest hair and I love that his mama brought his signature blanket from his newborn portraits.
