This little guy was another one that I took his newborn portraits near the end of my pregnancy. He was just so happy and giggled so much for his portraits with his Mommy and Daddy. His mama had a gorgeous handmade heirloom blanket for us to use and it was perfect for some fun happy portraits to document this little one turning 8 months.These were taken in his backyard on a beautiful sunny morning. Love all of the joy in these! (Super excited for some Mommy & Me Portraits on the calendar for Harrison & I in just a few weeks!)  I just love the first year mini sessions (available when booking a newborn session – for more information click here.) It’s so fun to see how the babies grow, change, and learn new things.

This was one of those sweet family sessions where I got to capture big sister in her room for a few moments before we took some images with her baby sister and her family. One of the fun parts of sessions at home is capturing the older siblings while baby is eating or being rocked to sleep. Mom and I looked through my blankets and headbands, and I love the colors of blankets and headbands that we picked out. She was just a happy little sleeper, and I love the sweet images of this family of four.

I drove out to this sweet family’s farm for a session (yes, I travel for sessions – contact me for more information!) It was such a gorgeous evening, and I love this image closer to sunset. He was playing right in the middle of his mama’s lilies that will be blooming soon, and I love that you can see one of their barns in the background. Such a beautiful farm, and we were able to capture so many different images.  He had so much fun playing with his dump truck and then in his mama’s roses. (She has such an awesome garden!)This little one was just so sweet and happy, so many fun images with his Mommy and Daddy.

Because sometimes photoshoots can wear you out and you just need to rest. Oh, this little one is so adorable, and I can’t believe it’s already been 7 months since his newborn portraits. His mama had wanted an image of him sucking his thumb and he did not disapoint. Right at the end, he decided he was ready for a nap.  And being the mama of a thumb sucker, I understand wanting to capture it in photos. (Just so cute!) Harrison is not interested in pacifiers or sucking his thumb (which I still can’t believe!!)

This sweet little 8 week old was just so happy and content for his newborn portraits with his family this morning. It was so nice that it wasn’t so extremely hot so that we could take some photos outside, too. He was pretty content to be awake and at the very end of the session, he decided to sleep for just a few minutes. So many sweet images and I just LOVE newborn sessions. I only have a few newborn spots left for late summer/early fall, so if you are thinking of booking a session, contact me for more information.
