What a sweet session this was – and so many sweet moments with the two siblings. She was such a proud big sister and loved hugging and kissing her baby brother. This was also one of those sessions that I just loved in color and in black and white. Little brother was just so content and slept for most of the session – he was just happy to be snuggled and cuddled by his family. These two also came out to the Holiday Mini Sessions, and I look forward to photographing them again during this little one’s first year! Speaking of first year sessions, if you have been thinking about planning a first year session in March or April and haven’t put a date on the calendar, please let me know soon – available dates are almost all booked up! So this sweet family is so special to us – Michael and Scott have known each other since their Ohio college days. You can tell just how loved these little ones are and how much fun they have together in these images…. And how cool that they wanted a session with their couch..and I was amazed they got it outside in the middle of the afternoon. It’s always nice when you have friendly neighbors to help. Being super pregnant, I’m not much help with too many things these days! Their mama is also great at decorating and their house is full of so many neat things. It was one of those days where it was cloudy and getting super dark early, and I was glad we were able to bump it up an hour..By the time I left it was getting pretty dark. The weather has been so sporadic this year – we can have super sunny mornings and cloudy/dark afternoons or 80 degrees one day and freezing rain the next!

Could the light in these be any more stunning? It was a perfect October afternoon for one year anniversary portraits of these two. (Yes, October. Lots of blogging to do!) He rented a tux so I was so thankful that the rain stayed away and we were able to capture some sweet anniversary images for these two. I don’t think the weather could have been any more perfect. Love, love, love her dress and the fall bouquet she brought for their session.

Trying to catch up on a lot of blogging from this fall. It has been such a busy season, and I have loved every minute of it! It has kept me so busy and helped this pregnancy fly by quicker.  Remember this sweet family? We met for a family session to capture their little one at three months. You really never know what the weather is going to be like (example – yesterday 80 degrees and today FREEZING!) I found that true with the Holiday Minis, too! Two of the days were beautiful but the winners of the contest had a super chilly winter day. This day felt more like fall and their littlest was so super cute all bundled up. He just loved smiling at his mama,too. I loved the photos of big brother playing football with his daddy, too much fun!

Love seeing the two boys together, especially his big brother kissing him – so sweet! Owen had his big brother class today at the hospital which was so much fun! Can’t wait for him to have his little brother to hug and snuggle!

Milo is just so special to this family, and wow, such a well behaved dog. He was just so content to hang out with us while we captured their family portraits. My dog Charlie, who barely moves at home. (example here).He’s mostly on the couch asleep 24/7 but as soon as he’s outside, he’s sprinting and getting into all kinds of trouble. Not Milo – he was just happy sitting in the field with his family – way too sweet. He is just so special to their family and I’m glad we were able to capture some sweet memories with Milo. Loved the colors their mama picked out for their session – so festive and perfect for the holidays. I first met this sweet family at the Back to School Mini Sessions where we were fortunate to have a horse stop by our session! They are such a sweet family – even brought Harrison a super cute gift – can’t wait for him to wear it!
