These two were so proud of their new baby brother! I just love the pictures of the siblings together – so sweet! It was raining when I showed up to their house, but the rain stopped for a little while and we were able to get some pictures outside! During the warm months, I love being able to take pictures outside, too. This was such a fun session and baby brother was just content the whole time. I love all the colors and hats mom picked out for this sweet little one!

One of the most incredible days of my life was the day my son was born. I couldn’t even fathom just how amazing it would be to hold him for the first time. I was so thankful a dear friend was there to capture that special moment. It’s so incredibly special because at that moment my life was forever changed.
I felt so blessed today to capture Darcy’s birth day. She is such a little miracle and was just so calm and happy when she was born. It was such a special moment – I love that I was able to catch her daddy crying when he first saw his baby girl. Congrats Ryan and Jen – she is so beautiful!

This is a picture I took of her sweet family just a few days before Darcy was born.

Happy Birthday sweet Darcy!

We had so much fun taking their maternity portraits in downtown Raleigh. We walked around City Market and then took a few photos at Pullen Park. In only a few weeks, these two will get to meet their baby boy. Can’t wait to take their newborn portraits!P I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterest

The morning of his birthday he woke up to a room filled with balloons which thrilled him! (Thank you Pinterest for all the great ideas!)

The water table was a huge hit. If you have a two year old, I highly recommend a water table – he LOVES it! He also had a little bit of birthday cupcake, mostly two bites because he just wanted to play with his new table. We then went to The Pit to celebrate with a birthday lunch, and Owen cleaned his plate!

The wagon was a huge hit! I think the boys spent 2/3 of the party riding around in the wagon.

His birthday party was so much fun! The little ones spent an afternoon at the park swinging, going down the slide, riding in the wagon, playing in the sandbox, and eating pizza, cake, and cupcakes! Owen was so happy to see all of his friends!
