This commercial shoot for Neverland Nook was too much fun. These little ones just loved running around in the capes! Love all of the different capes – I think the knight set was definitely a favorite – All of the little boys loved the sword and shield!

The two color themes Mom picked out for this session were perfect – the softness of the whites and blues for indoor portraits and the green and blues for outdoors. I just love the interactions between this sweet family in this session. Lifestyle portraits are my favorite for baby’s first year so I love how we took some of Zach’s 6 month portraits inside and then headed to a park in Raleigh close by. I think my favorite is where big brother is running and little Zach is smiling in the background – SO CUTE. Looking forward to capturing the rest of this little one’s first year!

A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to attend one of the Pinkletoes workshops in Austin. So thankful for such a sweet husband who arranged a family trip around the workshop and totally supported my decision to go. (and even flew back to Raleigh with our 2 1/2 year old by himself. He is the best.)

First of all, Michele is awesome. I honestly don’t know how she does it – I was worn out and I was just soaking it all in. The girl never stopped talking, listening, answering questions – I don’t know if she even ate the whole time. (We totally had sessions during meals) The workshop was far more than what I expected – we honestly did not stop for a beat. From the time we woke up until we went to sleep, we were learning and trying out new things. She should seriously charge way more – all of the information, experiences, and even an after the workshop video chat to answer questions – amazing.

I didn’t take too many photos- I was trying to listen and of course, scribble in my moleskin and workshop book the whole time. Here are a few images I snapped while there.P I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterest
