Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween..edited a few photos of Mr. Man at the last minute. He had so much fun this year, especially dressing up as his current favorite superhero – Super Why, the Super Reader. We started off the evening with a fabulous pizza party at the park and ended the evening with sooooooo much candy!  His adorable cape/mask set is of course from Neverland Nook. He absolutely loves all of his cape and mask sets. Oh, and I still can’t believe we actually had blue and green shoes to match his costume. I think my pregnant feet may have walked a little bit too much tonight – wow! It was worth it to see how much fun he had trick-or-treating. Super excited that next year we will have two little super heroes!

We were beginning to wonder if we were ever going to be able to have this session – we just kept getting rained out and one thing after another. Even the day we met for this session, the weather was pretty uncertain but we managed to have just enough time to take some fun, colorful family portraits of this sweet family. (You may remember them from their first session.) Their mama always picks out the cutest outfits for them – that bow tie and her little jacket – soooooo cute! I also love the little pop of color the balloons added. And I still can’t believe the super cute sibling shot we got of the two of them! It rarely happens that siblings just walk up to each other and hug – so incredibly cute!

One of those sessions that was pretty much perfect – such a sweet, happy family and there was just so much laughter between these four. We found a little bit of fall color and of course, you know I love to add in beautiful flowers whenever I can. This session just flew by  – and this brother and sister were just so sweet together – love the images of the two of them together.

So excited that the leaves are finally changing colors and looking forward to the next few weeks of fall sessions before maternity leave. Can’t wait for Owen to be able to jump and play in the leaves although he’s just super excited that Halloween is Thursday. We just got the rest of his costume in the mail yesterday and he absolutely cannot wait! I need to snap a few photos of him in his costume before it’s covered in chocolate/candy on Thursday. Oh, this little one was just so precious. And, wow, I couldn’t believe how content she was to just sleep and sleep even when big brother was climbing all over the place – she was just dreaming. So glad we were able to capture some of the two siblings – so so sweet! And wow, her nursery was just gorgeous! (You know I love a chandelier in a little girls room!) It was so sweet – her daddy was coming up with all kinds of versions of the book to keep the two siblings in the glider together – we were all laughing so much, I was having a hard time keeping the camera still. This little one’s grandma also gets an award for helping so much during the session – she was such a big help, we were all laughing so much and I love the images we were able to get of this sweet family of four.

I think this was the first session that really felt like fall. We knew the day before the weather was going to be a little iffy – I even think it may have started raining right after we left. The weather was perfect for their super cute fall outfits – oh my, the twins were just too cute! Two smiley happy two year olds was just the cutest thing – these two were so full of hugs and smiles. We also found some fun fall backdrops for their super cute clothes – just can’t believe how perfect this sweet family session was.

I can’t believe fall has flown by so fast. I feel like I’m going to blink and it’s going to be Christmas (yay!) I’m so ready for hot chocolate, putting up the Christmas tree, holiday food, crafts, and traditions. Is it too early to start the countdown?
