Could the light in these be any more stunning? It was a perfect October afternoon for one year anniversary portraits of these two. (Yes, October. Lots of blogging to do!) He rented a tux so I was so thankful that the rain stayed away and we were able to capture some sweet anniversary images for these two. I don’t think the weather could have been any more perfect. Love, love, love her dress and the fall bouquet she brought for their session.

Trying to catch up on a lot of blogging from this fall. It has been such a busy season, and I have loved every minute of it! It has kept me so busy and helped this pregnancy fly by quicker.  Remember this sweet family? We met for a family session to capture their little one at three months. You really never know what the weather is going to be like (example – yesterday 80 degrees and today FREEZING!) I found that true with the Holiday Minis, too! Two of the days were beautiful but the winners of the contest had a super chilly winter day. This day felt more like fall and their littlest was so super cute all bundled up. He just loved smiling at his mama,too. I loved the photos of big brother playing football with his daddy, too much fun!

Love seeing the two boys together, especially his big brother kissing him – so sweet! Owen had his big brother class today at the hospital which was so much fun! Can’t wait for him to have his little brother to hug and snuggle!

Milo is just so special to this family, and wow, such a well behaved dog. He was just so content to hang out with us while we captured their family portraits. My dog Charlie, who barely moves at home. (example here).He’s mostly on the couch asleep 24/7 but as soon as he’s outside, he’s sprinting and getting into all kinds of trouble. Not Milo – he was just happy sitting in the field with his family – way too sweet. He is just so special to their family and I’m glad we were able to capture some sweet memories with Milo. Loved the colors their mama picked out for their session – so festive and perfect for the holidays. I first met this sweet family at the Back to School Mini Sessions where we were fortunate to have a horse stop by our session! They are such a sweet family – even brought Harrison a super cute gift – can’t wait for him to wear it!

Just had to share a preview of all the happy faces from the Holiday Minis! It was such a busy day at Boyce Farms and almost all of the trees sold out while we were there! (They are getting a lot more trees tomorrow so stop by Boyce Farms if you need to get your tree!) So many smiling faces so I just had to stop and share a preview of our afternoon there! The second half of 2013’s weather has just been crazy…and some days I don’t even want to look at the weather report because it can completely change by lunchtime. The fall can be a little bit more difficult sometimes too with the earlier sunsets. After a few reschedules, we were finally able to have this session on one of those days that really felt like winter. Their little guy was just so cute pushing his radio flyer around and their mama found such a fun background for their session. I love that there were bright yellow trees in the background, too! Such a sweet family session on the blog this afternoon!

Yesterday was the first day of the 2013 Holiday Mini Sessions (Free when booking a full 2014 session) What a fun day & Boyce Farms was so busy – almost all of the trees were sold while I was there.  (They will be getting more this week – yay!) Such a sweet family that owns the farm and I love the choose and cut field too! A great place to go for your family’s Christmas tree.  Today is the second day of sessions – so super excited! Also, yesterday – the last newborn session for April was booked. I may take one more closer to the date depending on just how busy it is. If you are thinking of booking a session for May I have a limited number of spots. The calendar is also filling up for first year sessions and family sessions – if you need to plan a date, let me know!
