I am totally blogging out of order (sorry about that!) I have a lot to catch up on – 2013 was so busy at the end, and I’m so glad we rescheduled this session for earlier or it wouldn’t have happened. Little Harrison decided to arrive way before his due date. It was such a pretty afternoon when we met for this little one’s one year portraits. She has the sweetest family and I have loved taking their maternity. newborn, and all of her first year photos. Her mama always picks out the cutest clothes for her, and this little one is just soooo happy! She loves being photographed, and I love all the sweet images we were able to capture of the three of them!

Happy New Year! Can’t believe this little one decided to arrive in 2013 – such a surprise and a blessing. He woke up around 11:50 last night so we rang in the new year together. Still in shock that I have a baby whose “up to 7lbs” clothes swallow him. He is such a content happy little baby and we feel so blessed. More photos of him and Owen meeting and our days in the hospital soon. Right now we are taking a lot of naps and lots of snuggles!

Can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve and tomorrow is Christmas! Owen is still sleeping, but he will soon be up to move Santa over to the 24th. It is the first thing he talks about in the morning and runs downstairs to count how many days until Christmas. It’s going to be two fun relaxing days for us since we won’t be traveling this year. Cannot wait to cozy up by the tree and watch Elf today – one of my favorite Christmas movies ever! Just wanted to stop and share some sweet images of these three cute cousins that I took when they were all together. (Just love the little outtake at the end!) It was an impromptu little shoot in my mom’s front yard and the three of them are just so cute and happy together. So excited that next year there will be one more little cousin with these three!  I will be back to blogging soon – going to take a little break and finish up the last three family sessions to edit and then to start working on a special contest for 2014. The minute these two boys stepped out of the car, they were grinning from ear to ear. How cute are they?!?!With all the crazy fall weather this year, we had to reschedule a few times but ended up with beautiful weather. This family is full of so much love, and the boys LOVED the park. They had so much fun running around and exploring. It was one of those busy fall evenings that was packed out with family sessions. (One of my favorite places ever for session in Raleigh and it’s super popular in the fall!) I even ran into a good friend who was also out shooting. This family was just so sweet and now that their Christmas cards have been mailed, I can share their fun family photos!

What a sweet session at home this was and such a sweet couple. This little one is surrounded by so much love and she even has the perfect little park right across the street from her house.  (You know I love a park within walking distance – with our tiny yard, I don’t know what I’d do without it!) She was very alert for her session and her mama just so patient and calm and rocked her back to sleep every time she woke up. I love every single image from this session and I’m going to start crying just thinking about how we will have another little one around here soon. It’s so quiet in the house this morning and I know these days are almost over. Owen and I were just talking at breakfast about how there is going to be a crying baby around here soon.
