The weather was just so beautiful and perfect when we met Saturday for this sweet little one’s 9 month portraits. I feel like I have blinked since we took these sweet images before she was even born. She is such a joy to her family and oh, the sweetest thing ever is her face when she sees her big sister – she just lights up! It is the cutest thing – no one can make her smile and laugh like her big sister. (I can’t wait to see how Harrison and Owen interact together!) We were also able to capture so many sweet mommy baby images so I just had to post one has a preview. Can’t believe at our next session she will be a year old – Time has flown by!

I LOVE Adoption Announcements! I also love, love, love family portraits when they bring their babies home. Don’t you love the cute chalkboard they brought to announce their adoption? We met on a bright, beautiful day in Wake Forest to celebrate and document the adventure ahead of them. These two are just so sweet and we totally laughed the entire time. They have so much fun together – he really knows how to make her laugh! I love that we were able to capture that in these images – fun and happy, announcing their adoption! What I love about documenting the process is that their little one will know just how loved they were right from the beginning before they even met. Such a joy to capture the beginning & the happy endings –  So excited for these two!

I love the milestone mini sessions because it’s so great to see how the babies grow & change over the first year. We just took her newborn portraits a few months ago – my last newborn session before my little boy was born. This sweet little one was just so bright eyed and awake for her sweet three month session at home. I always love sessions at home and just love this sweet image with her mama. She dozed off for a minute while being rocked by her mama but was really interested in the camera and everything going on – such a sweetheart. Looking forward to photographing the rest of her first year and a few sessions with her big brother, too!

Our session yesterday was just so fun, and this little one was just sooo happy and full of smiles! So much to share from this sweet session. Remember all that rain we got Friday? There were some huge puddles at the park and even parts were blocked off because they were submerged in the water from the lake. We managed to stay away from too much mud and were able to capture some sweet one year portraits for this baby girl! Can’t wait to share the rest of them!

Seriously cannot believe this little guy is already one! This year has just flown by and his birthday was during my maternity leave so this was one of the first sessions on returning to work. I love the fun downtown background that we picked for the session and we were so lucky to end up with a beautiful day in downtown Greensboro. It was a little windy though so the balloons only lasted for a few photos. I have so many favorites but I think this one is my absolute favorite! I love the three of them with the balloons & the big building in the background. We really didn’t have to walk too far to find so many fun different backgrounds, ended up near the Carolina Theatre and then stopped to celebrate his birthday with a cupcake. He was just too cute eating his little cupcake – he wanted his mommy’s help.  Just love his little bowtie his mama picked out – she always dresses him so cute!
