How sweet is this? I just love this sweet Mommy Baby image from their family session this weekend. This little guy was just sooo happy and cute! And he’s gotten so big since his newborn portraits. I love Mommy Baby images because we are the ones who are always taking the pictures and it’s great to have some of just us and our little ones. (Having a little baby around our house reminds me of this.) Such a sweet little guy and I’ll be posting more images from his family session soon!

This little one was up bright and early for his 6 month portraits with his Mommy & Daddy! Such a cutie and I just love the pretty light that you can get early in the morning and late in the day. He is also one of the winners of the 2013 Image of the Year. Remember his newborn portraits? He still has the cutest hair and I love that his mama brought his signature blanket from his newborn portraits.

How sweet is this daddy daughter image at sunset? LOVE IT! This was from our session last Friday, and this little one came all the way from Cary to Wake Forest (my favorite park, especially at sunset!) for her 6 month portraits. The weather was just perfect Friday (Not looking forward to the weather tomorrow although now it’s looking more like rain and not snow! I don’t think I can take anymore snow!) Can’t wait to share the rest of the images from this sweet little one with her mama and daddy! You know I love pretty sunset images and such a sweet family, too!

This was my first newborn session after my maternity leave and what a sweet session it was of this family of three (plus their sweet little puppy! He was just so cute looking out the window when I arrived) This sweet little one’s nursery was just so pretty – his mama picked such a great room for him and I love that we were able to capture images in a few rooms in the house and then some of just him. He is so loved and was just so content for his newborn portraits at home. Every newborn session is so different and so special to have taken at your home. It takes away a lot of the stress of trying to get ready and go somewhere when you have a newborn, too. I love that he was alert when I arrived and we were able to capture some content awake images and some sleepy ones, too. Love that we were also able to take a few with his daddy’s baseball jersey – so sweet!

Oh, this morning’s newborn session was just so sweet even on this cloudy, dark rainy day we found some pretty light to work with. It seems to be dark rainy days on my newborn sessions lately – we just hug the pretty light! You know I love natural light and I’m always on the hunt for it when I show up to a location. (Pretty natural light is my favorite and you know I love sessions at home, too!) We were able to capture so many sweet images of this little man this morning – his session just flew by. I think I said 100 times, I can’t believe how many images we’ve gotten already! He was really content and loved being swaddled and snuggled by his mommy and daddy. Even his puppy Moose got in one or two. Can’t wait to share the rest of them and photos with his big sister, too! Love, love, love newborn sessions at home! This was one of those images where I just couldn’t decide if I loved it more in color or black and white – I posted the color version on my google + page – click here and let me know what you think!
