Just a few weeks ago,  we met for their maternity portraits and they still didn’t know if they were having a boy or girl.  Their little girl has arrived, and oh, these two are so precious – just love this image of these sweet sisters. This big sister was just sooo cute at their family newborn session yesterday. She has the cutest big sister book (we got some cute images with her book, too!) and she was just so sweet to her baby sister. She also had to show me her tripod and had to take her own pretend photos, too – soooo cute! This was one of those sessions that just went by so quickly!

Oh, I just love these sweet newborn portraits of this little one with her mommy & daddy. When I arrived, she was determined to stay awake and wanted to know exactly what was going on. I love that we were able to capture some portraits of her awake and peacefully dreaming. When she fell asleep, she was just so content and slept and slept. The second half of the session she was perfectly happy just to sleep and we were able to keep capturing some sweet memories for this family. I love the basket that was a special family gift and also some of the flowers they brought home from the hospital. Also, the tree in her room took a lot of time and effort so we had to get a photo with the tree! It’s always fun to take a few photos in the nursery, too. Every newborn session is so different, and I love how we were able to capture their first days at home.

Love sweet Mommy & Me images and just had to share this one from our session Saturday morning. I’ve photographed this little guy since his newborn portraits – such a sweetheart. (Love this image of their family when he was just three months!) He is always so happy and full of smiles, especially when he’s with his mommy. I just love this image of the two of them! I’ll share more images soon with the rest of the family – his big brother had sooooo much fun with my tricycle. I didn’t even know it was usable or even really worked..I just thought it was a cool antique when I got it. He sure proved me wrong – that tricycle sure did rock the park! Ok, more soon!

This month’s blog circle theme is Real Simple..I LOVE 4 months and kept thinking I needed to take some simple portraits of Harrison so when this month’s theme rolled around it was perfect. When I was pouring through the images on my computer, I was in love..it was hard to pick just a few. I just love his personality, all of his different expressions..those things a mama notices. He watches me everywhere I go and I can see him looking for me in these images – love. I just love him to pieces. He is such a happy little guy – his favorite thing ever is to stand up. If you hold him up like he’s standing, you are guaranteed smiles and giggles. Oh, these days are just so sweet and I want to soak every second up!

I can’t believe this little guy is already six months old! I feel like we just took his newborn portraits! He was sooooo happy for his photos and just smiled and cooed at his mommy & daddy – just so sweet. We were able to get a variety of images super quick before he let us know that he was sleepy and his portraits were over.  Such a sweet little guy, and I can’t wait to share all of the images from this mini session!
