Sweet Brothers
Raleigh Newborn Baby Photographer
Oh my goodness, this session was just so precious. These two boys together, so incredibly adorable. And baby brother was just so happy – his belly was full, and he was sleepy and content. Loved their Carolina blue loveseat, too. So much fun!
What was the first thing you thought when you saw your baby for the first time? How excited I was that our family was complete and anticipation for Thomas to meet him.
What was your favorite part of our session together? I enjoyed not having to pack everyone up to go somewhere and having photos in places that are meaningful to us.
How did you prepare the baby for our photoshoot? Lots of food and a diaper change
How was your experience having your newborn photographed? Were you worried or nervous beforehand? How did it turn out? I was nervous that he would be fussy, but feeding him right before we started helped.
What would be your advice to someone getting newborn photographs taken? Know what you want before the baby is born (photographer, clothes, etc.). Finding clothes was the most stressful part.
Do you have any other children? How did they react to the baby? Any cute stories to share? Thomas was very excited to be a big brother and has done great. He likes to restock the diapers and wipes and loves to participate in tummy time with William. Every morning before school, Thomas insists on coming in to give William a hug and kiss before he leaves.
Any advice to other families picking out wardrobe or preparing for family portraits? Having all the clothes purchased, ironed, and ready to go before the baby comes would be ideal as there was a lot of stress trying to coordinate outfits after the baby came.
