So excited that it’s November! The holidays are my favorite time of year and I simply cannot WAIT to decorate the tree!

Goals for November:

plan out some fun crafts and treats to make this month

finish getting everything ready for our Polar Express Trip

finish Christmas shopping

actually be in more pictures this month. I have been trying to be better about this:)I’m always the one taking the picture so I’m not in as many.

edit so many everyday images that I have on my computer that have not been edited yet! Huge blog post coming soon!

video decorating the tree and some of our Christmas crafts. I have a video of Owen decorating the tree last year and I absolutely love it.

So excited about fall! We’ve been talking about pumpkins, reading pumpkin books, and today we made caramel apples. (totally inspired by How Sweet It Is)

Goals for October:

* visit Hill Ridge Farms for a hayride, train ride, and to pick a pumpkin

* drink some apple cider

* roast some pumpkin seeds

and of course, take pictures in the leaves!

I’ve been working on several projects lately and one that I absolutely love is my new custom canvas collages and canvas gallery wraps. I LOVE canvas. I want to order like every picture on canvas right now. I also love how the collages tell a story. I’m not necessarily going to print a picture of the decorations at Owen’s birthday party but it’s nice to have them as part of the collage. Goals for September:

* Work on and finish a preview for Holiday Mini Sessions.(October 28th & November 4th) They are going to be sooo cute! There will be a limited number of mini sessions available. Send me an e-mail for more information (rebeccakellerphotography@gmail.com)

* I have two different ideas for photo sessions with Owen that I need to hurry up and take!

* Super excited about a family vacation this month (yay!) Goals for vacation – build sandcastles, daily Cappuccino by the Sea, and read a good book.

I didn’t grow up with a sister (I grew up with a big brother who is totally my hero) but I have been blessed with two wonderful sister-in-laws. Amy (who is married to my brother) and Alex (who is married to Michael’s brother) have both become dear friends of mine who I feel like I could call anytime for advice or encouragement. I am so thankful for both of them. I was thrilled to be able to capture Patrick and Alex’s little one’s birth day. She is just too beautiful and I am so a proud auntie! This is the second birth session I have photographed this month and I just love it. A new baby is truly a miracle and how precious to capture their first moments.(When I finished editing the photos and put their slideshow together, I bawled as I watched it. What a special day!) I’m happy to announce that I will be accepting a limited number of birth sessions this year. More information soon on pricing/time. Birth sessions will include meeting the siblings/pictures with grandparents an hour or two after the baby is born.

Goals for August:

*Organize and finalize birth photography pricing and information
*One of my goals for this year is to organize more! Part of this is I need to declutter.
My goals this month for decluttering..
*Participate in this Consignment Sale this month! You can see pictures from their last sale here.I have already started getting things together for the sale, and I’m super excited about it!
*Sell a few things on craigslist. I have never done this before but there are a few things in the garage that need to go!
*Catch up on my 52 Week Project. It’s been a busy fun month! I need to catch up on my project – lots of cute pictures to share!
My first Friends & Family Event has been really fun and I look forward to coming up with another fun idea for next year!

June has just flown by! I feel like I am going to blink and the summer will be over. I have so many goals for this summer – I need to start working on a few things!

Goals for July:

* Finish my first custom album. So excited to start offering custom professional albums for my clients! I have already started the design process so I should have a sample to show you soon!

* Host my 1st Friends & Family Event for all 2011 & 2012 Clients. (If you did not get the e-mail and you are a 2011 or 2012 client, please let me know!)

* Order a canvas from Mpix.com

* Attempt to make this iced coffee

* Take Owen to the North Carolina Zoo

* Order a few t-shirts from  ALM Designs. Allison is so creative and I love that she listens to all my ideas and helps me design perfect personalized t-shirts for my little one. I have a few ideas for July and I’m super excited about them! Stay tuned tomorrow to see his super cute 4th of July shirt!
