So if you see me out and about, chances are I will have my Kelly Moore bag with me.

Well, I pretty much take it everywhere. It is awesome – seriously.  I have the classic bag in grey, and it was a gift from two dear friends. If you are like me and take 300 pictures of your child at the library, music class, the park, wherever, then this bag is totally for you. It is a really pretty bag with a ton of space – mine usually has a camera, flash, an extra lens if needed, diapers, and a snack for little man. I take it shopping, out to eat, and I may have had it at church this morning. The funny thing is – Michael laughs at me because I used to be embarrassed when he would take his camera to basketball games and take pictures. I am now the  mom on the front row with a memory card full of 1,000 pictures in about five minutes.

love, love, love my kelly moore bag!

A simple craft for a special family member.

Isn’t he the cutest? Oh, he just loves to color. I just have to make sure the artwork stays on the paper and not on the walls.

How sweet is this little one! Such a doll! Her parents were very prepared for this session and had a few blankets and props that really fit their style. The bowl was an heirloom which made it so special to have pictures of little Evelyn in the bowl. Their dining room had such beautiful light and we got so many pretty pictures during this session. The house was also warm – which is important for a newborn session. We were able to get so many pictures because little Evelyn was happy and content and dreaming away. Here are several favorites. (You can see more pictures from this session here and here.)

The moss in this picture was from their wedding – so pretty! And this is their heirloom bread bowl – so beautiful!

From the fullness of grace we have received one blessing after another –  John 1:16

This is my favorite picture from this week –

Those first days with your little one are just so incredible. The emotions and just the love that fills your heart

is overwhelming. I love capturing these sweet moments.

The first days after Owen was born I just sobbed – thinking, wow, this is how much my parents love me and even more

Wow, this is just a glimpse into how much God loves me.

The first moment I held him changed my life. I was so blessed to have Michael and a dear friend with me

who took pictures of the incredible moment that I held my son for the first time.

I tell my friends who are pregnant when they moan, when they worry about birth – that if I had had

even a glimmer of what it was going to be like to hold him, I wouldn’t have even groaned in the

   slightest.

The birth of a little one is such a miracle. I am thankful to capture these sweet days.
