This little one was born very early and only 4 lbs 10 oz. She was so peaceful and content the entire session. Such a precious and beautiful baby! She is just absolutely gorgeous and I just love these sweet images! P I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterest

What have we been up to?

Well, we took a trip to the beach. Owen loves the sand but is still a little scared of the ocean.

He loves his shoes.

This picture of Owen and Michael is so one of my favorites.P I N this to pinterest

These are his facial expressions right now – oh I just love his little personality.P I N this to pinterest

While we were at the beach, we went to Ripley’s Aquarium at Myrtle Beach.  It was super fun and Owen loved picking up the horseshoe crabs and watching all the sharks float over our heads.P I N this to pinterest

And of course, in the past two weeks, we took lots of Easter pictures, made a bunch of Easter crafts and participated in an Easter Egg Hunt. I only took 300 pictures in his Easter outfit because he has never worn a tie before and I just thought it was too cute.P I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterest

While we were taking these, a bunch of helicopters flew over. The first picture is Owen saying, “Where’d they go? Helicopters?” which he repeated for several hours and was the first thing he said the next morning when he woke up. Adorable.

For one of our Easter Crafts, we made these super cute cards, filled Easter Eggs, and mailed them to the grandparents and great grandparents. When they opened their mailbox, they found an easter egg with a little tiny label on it filled with candy and a cute little card. I love this website and I got the idea for the card here and the idea to mail the eggs here. We also made Graham Cracker Peep Houses which can be seen here.

How delicious were these Bird’s Nest Cookies? Owen and Christopher gobbled them up as soon as we put the tray down. See more pictures here.P I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterest

Once he figured out there were snacks in the eggs, he just sat and ate and ate and ate:)P I N this to pinterest

This is our everyday.

Remember Alex? This little guy is so happy and such a sweetheart. All he wants to do is run, run run. I wore my sneakers for this session because I knew we would be running. We could stay somewhere for a few moments and then zoom, he was off to somewhere new! We spent a lot of time exploring the J C Raulston Arboretum going on bear hunts and searching for the moon. P I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterest

We’ve had our Maltese puppy Charlie for five years. I found out about a family that had Maltese puppies in Goldsboro and I probably called three times a day to see if anyone had bought the little boy puppy. Little did I know one day right after I called Michael was there to pick up Charlie. He surprised me later that day with the sweetest little puppy that fit in the palm of your hand. He was so tiny! This week we had another maltese at our house. Jasper is Michael’s brother’s dog and he came to stay for the week while they were on vacation. Guess who was sooo happy to have a new friend to play with.

P I N this to pinterestP I N this to pinterestOwen had a blast playing with Jasper and Charlie this week. The puppies mostly spent the week hiding just outside Owen’s reach.
