This week’s theme – Water.

This week’s theme was tough because, as you can see here, he is always running AWAY from the water!

He would much rather be looking for seashells or playing in the sand!

I can’t believe little Elizabeth is already six months! I feel like we just took her three month portraits! Her brother and sister just love her so much and I love that we were able to capture the three of them together. We had so much fun at this session at Pullen Park. Such a sweet family and I look forward to taking more pictures of Elizabeth’s first year.

Wow – I can’t believe I’ve been working on my everyday project for 12 weeks. It has been so much fun and I’ve enjoyed capturing these everyday moments. This past week we went to the beach. (Yes, in the tropical storm) The rain didn’t last too long and we were able to be back on the beach Tuesday evening.

He wore his rain boots during the tropical storm. You may remember them from this post. He LOVES his boots and had fun stomping around in them all morning.

We had such a great time – He enjoys the beach so much. He loves digging with his shovel, playing with his trucks, and looking for seashells.

Remember these two? I can’t believe it’s almost time for my little niece to be born! Only a few more weeks left! So excited for Patrick and Alex! One thing about these two is that they love to laugh. Some of my favorites from their gender reveal were the “outtakes.”  About 2/3 of the way through this session we were all laughing! They are too much fun to be around! They are both going to be wonderful parents, and I can’t wait to meet their little princess!

One of my May goals was to take Owen to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham.  Owen and Jackson had a blast looking at the bears, exploring the butterfly house, and of course, riding the train. They have been buddies since Owen was born and just looked too cute with their matching book bags.

Goals for June:

* research some fun ideas to make Owen feel special on his birthday (Wow! He will be two June 9th!)

* pick out a Father’s day craft and plan a fun activity for Michael

* Contact Maple View Farm about their tours. Who wants to go with me? I’ve heard their ice cream is amazing!
