The Very Last Minute
Wake Forest Newborn Photographer
It is rare that I photograph newborns outdoors because of all that it takes just to get out of the house with a newborn, but it’s always fun to do something different. And you know how our weather has been this Spring..freezing one week, a few warm days, then back to cold. It had been cold the whole week of their newborn portraits, I mean cooollllld for North Carolina, but wouldn’t you know, the only day that week it was going to be somehow magically in the 80s was the day of their session. It was such a wonderful warm evening, like just amazingly perfect. And the big brothers, so incredibly sweet and full of energy but still all about their baby brother. It was just so precious and sweet. Baby brother was the only one not thrilled with the photo session. And their Mama really wanted some great pictures of just the boys by themselves and they were so cute and stopped bouncing around for just a few seconds for me to get some portraits of them just by themselves. We stayed at the park until the last bit of sunshine was gone…until the very last possible minute!

What was the first thing you thought when you saw your baby for the first time? Love
What was your favorite part of our session together? Loved that the boys enjoyed interacting with Becky! Beautiful weather and appreciate Becky’s patience with my kids.
How was your experience having your newborn photographed? Lol, Luke wasn’t impressed with pictures!!
Do you have any other children? How did they react to the baby? My older boys are struggling with another baby, they love him to pieces but it’s an adjustment.
Any other advice to other families picking out wardrobe or preparing for family portraits? Loved the help from stylist! Great idea for four colors!
