Perfect Summer Light

These two are just so sweet together, and they stayed out in the heat for their maternity portraits like it was nothing. It has been hot lately, people. Like seriously hot..like you can’t even believe it hot.I had a session last night and everyone looked stunning, but it was 90 degrees and we were cruising right along. You can tell these two just have so much fun together – so much laughter during this session. The area where we had their maternity portraits had a lot more water an usual and was a little bit flooded. The water also smelled super bad, which you know, when you’re pregnant, all smells are worse. So, this Mama was even more of a trooper. Plus, she is having twins (so exciting!) so she’s basically superwoman!

I love this location because the light is just so pretty! It’s one of the location options for our maternity mini sessions, and it’s just so pretty all year. I loved the images at the end with the rocks and the water (it was moving so fast!) It did smell a little worse out there, but the photos were totally worth it! I even had to yell a lot. Water + wind can make it hard to hear me. I was laughing so hard I was crying at our Coastal Minis because seriously, no one can hear me, especially when I’m behind the camera – ha!
