A baby is a dream come true… When I show up to a newborn session, I’m photographing the many prayers, dreams, hopes..all those moments that eventually led to a such a precious gift for their family. Mom + Dad may be sleep deprived and ready for a nap, (who isn’t always ready for a nap the first few months/years with a little one) but what I also get to capture is the doting on their little one…the huge love that happens in those first weeks at home bonding with this little person you have been dreaming of and waiting for. This daddy was just so precious with his baby girl, swaying her and rocking her in her favorite spot. And every time her Mama held her, she was wide awake, ready to party. Just so precious! Those two are just going to have so much fun together, getting pedicures and going shopping! This is why I love my job…I love capturing newborns personality in the first few weeks and also the miracle of new life. I have gotten to photograph so many sweet newborns this month…Looking forward to so many more in the next few weeks!
