Part of the fun of our styled mini sessions is that they are fast. We try to keep everyone moving and laughing and we move pretty quickly. It does work well to have both of us there working and Ericka not only styles the sessions but helps with making the little ones giggle and have fun. I first met this little one as a newborn and he just has the sweetest personality and is so laid back like his parents. He, of course, loved swinging with his Mommy and playing around the barn. And that hair, oh my goodness! I love, love, love the sweet hug with his Mama at the end, too. These only take a few minutes, but what sweet memories they create.

It’s hard to for to make the investment for one session to rent somewhere and all of the thought and prop designing time Ericka spends (and she really is a creative genius because sometimes I am just like, yeah, I would have never thought of that) But it works perfectly to spend all the time and effort on the minis. Ok, back to Ericka, I totally giggle thinking about all of the things she comes up with. And we work well together because we usually have different ideas and we have to bounce them off each other and figure out what is going to be our favorite. We had a lot of wind out first day of minis, and I was just like oh no, please don’t let these flowers fly off or a storm blow up. (And if you know me, I like hate, hate storms…especially storms with wind!) We spend a lot of time dreaming up and chatting about our minis and really enjoy them when they finalllly arrive. (I probably spent too much time swinging on that swing before we covered it in flowers. It is a great swing – ha!!!) Our next minis coming up are Coastal Sessions at Holden Beach, which are family minis. We have one spot left – contact us for more info.
