Outdoor Newborn Photography Raleigh | Those Pretty Spring Trees

We had just gorgeous spring weather the day of their session. And this sweet little guy, he just loved being outdoors…I am always amazed when someone asks for an outdoor newborn session. (I barely left the house for three months after I had my babies) This mama was just so relaxed + motherhood came so natural to her, there was no stress leaving the house and enjoying the pretty weather. The spring trees bloom so quickly, and then they are gone so I was so happy we were able to capture the beauty of the spring when this sweet baby boy was born. The petals on the ground – so pretty. What was the first thing you thought when you saw your baby for the first time? He is perfect and I can’t believe he is ours.

What was your favorite part of your newborn session? I loved having the session at the park. We are outdoors people and really wanted to have the first pictures with the baby outside, plus he loves to be outside. The weather was perfect, we were relaxed and the pictures turned out incredibly.

How did you prepare the baby for our photoshoot? We fed him and bathed him right before the session so he was content. We packed multiple outfits (which was good since he did spit up during the session) and we packed a bottle to feed mid session.

How was your experience having your newborn photographed? Were you worried or nervous before? How did it turn out? It was wonderful! Becky was great at making sure both the baby and we were comfortable. I was nervous that he would get fussy during the session, but he loved being outside and did fabulously.

What would be your advice to someone getting newborn photographs taken? Relax and have fun! The pictures will be special no matter what.

Any advice to other families picking our wardrobe or preparing for a session? Wear something you are comfortable in and females have your hair so it won’t fall in your face, as mine kept doing.
