NC Cary Newborn Photographer | Oh, That Nursery

Oh, this sweet baby boy just dreamed away during his session. So much so that we didn’t know if he was going to wake up for some awake portraits, too. His sweet mama wanted a few wide eyed photos, and at the very end, he decided to be wide eyed and content, which can be rare during newborn sessions. Sometimes newborns are quite unhappy when they are awake, but it’s fun to catch them in those short few moments of wide eyed contentment. And he was just so cozy and calm with his parents. (I first met them at their maternity portraits right before he was born. We barely got through the session before it started raining) And his nursery was just perfect – loved how neutral and sweet it was. I love all of the peaceful moments captured at home – oh, I love newborn sessions. The first few weeks pass by so quickly, and I love photographing them while they are so tiny.
