A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
“Uuuuuuuur Ahhhhrrrrrr Uhrrrr Ahhhhrrrrr Aaarhg…”

I have a confession to make. I have NEVER watched Star Wars. There, I said it. My husband and kids on the other hand, they are avid fans. (Even the littlest panawan!) For him, colors are no longer green, white or black – they are Yoda, Storm Trooper and Darth Vader. I am sure automatic doors make him feel like the Jedi he thinks he is!

Eva was so excited about The Force Awakens being released last year. She even re-watch prior episodes so she could refresh her memory. Since I do not know anything about the Imperial Forces, I let Mr. Little Apple handle all those requests. Unfortunately for her, we did not let her watch Episode VII. We were not sure how she would feel about the last scene. It was just going to be too hard to explain to a 7 year old that cried for a whole week when Pluto got lost at Mickey’s Twice upon a Christmas (spoiler alert: Pluto finds his way home at the end of the movie- haha)

Back in November, while doing my normal clothing search, I realized Hanna Andersson was releasing Star Wars Christmas Pajamas! I squealed with excitement. I can finally talk Star Wars to my kids in a language I know! (The language of super cute clothes and props!) Until now, I had pretended I know who is who thanks to my ninja google skills. All this was about to change – haha! The hubs did not think I could style something I did not know anything about. I found the lack of faith disturbing (booya Darth Vader!) I reached to my most favorite partner in crime (Becky of course!) and we came up with the most adorable idea – cookies and Star Wars! I may not be a Star Wars fan – but cookies…well, I am a MVP cookie taster!

Do or do not, there is not try -Yoda

Our little Jedi apprentices absolutely loved this session at the end of November. A good friend of mine let us use her amazing kitchen – They baked and decorated ginger bread houses and cookies. Let me take that back, not all of them. The older kids did all the work, the littlest ones ate, laugh and ate more. At the end, we got amazing pictures – so mission accomplished.
