Thankful – Raleigh Fun Family Lifestyle Photography

So thankful for so many things this year, especially the sweet boys that are in my life. We just recently had our first family session since Harrison’s newborn portraits and I love, love, love the photos from Wendy of Blue Lily. She was just so sweet, and when we first viewed our photos, Owen kept wondering why their wasn’t a picture of Wendy. (She was his instant bff.) Our family portraits were taken right in the middle of busy season for me, probably one of the busiest weeks of the whole year, and I’m glad we were able to squeeze this in. We had a special morning with friends and then an afternoon hiking. (because really, if you’ve ever been to this park – there can be a lot of walking/hiking involved!) Having a family session was definitely on my bucket list for fall, and one other thing was taking the boys to my favorite leaf pile in Raleigh. The prettiest tree that has the prettiest leaves and just so many of them. I was worried we weren’t going to get to go because my schedule was just so packed and the weather was just crazy the days the leaves were pretty and had not all fallen off the trees yet. 73 and rainy one day, 39 degrees and freezing the next! You never know what to expect in November in North Carolina, right? Well, we finally managed to squeeze in an afternoon at the park, and Harrison was in love with the leaves. Owen had a blast throwing them in the air, too, but Harrison just giggled and crinkled up his nose, which is his favorite thing to do right now, and oh so adorable. So thankful for all the giggles these two have together. Just had to share a few images from the leaves, and I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!
