Dingle, Party of 8 – Raleigh Family Photography

So much fun taking this sweet family’s portraits. We met at the J.C. Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, and the light was just perfect. It was only around a year ago that I was taking photos of their sweet family when they brought Zoe home. This year they will be adopting three little ones from Uganda. I love how Shannon chose Dingle, Party of 8 as the title for their announcement. She is so organized and has even planned out the house – where everyone will sleep and has such a cool idea for bunk beds. They are such a giving family with such big hearts – Shannon is always looking for ways to help others. Little Robbie is all boy and Shannon’s always posting the cutest things he says. Jocelyn was super excited about being the artist for the announcement and did an awesome job – her artwork was just perfect  Little Zoe is just as sweet as can be – definitely all about her mommy and daddy. The most amazing part about our portrait session – Lee and Shannon’s ability to tune out the chaos around them so I could capture some images of just the two of them – pretty much amazing. They weren’t worried about everything going on around them and took a few minutes just to laugh together. (LOVE the images of the two of them) This was such a fun session – there was a big event going on at the arboretum, but we managed to find a quiet spot where the kids could run, laugh, play, and draw.
